| What question would you ask Roy. Would you like to pay my country a visit this year, with the nation's Mass Rapid Transit train systems running full-fledged all over the island by July 2003? |
Comments:
A nostalgic treat for a transport back to the early 60's pic when the Move posed with the 'mortar bomb' launching the hit single 'Flowers In The Rain'.
The last time Singaporeans were treated with an original Move member in action was when ex-drummer Bev Bevan came here with Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra in 1993 for a one-night performance at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The response was lukewarm and cold as the target audience, mostly in their 40's and 50's, did little to applaud and cheer up to the music of the ELO to make everyone present felt the impact the band had made in big band infusion pop music.
Hope you will not forget my country's Rediffusion broadcast station which used to spin your original line-up band psychedelic rock music regularly in the 60's and 70's.
Hope to hear from you if you and other ex-band members happen to come this way down to Asia as leisure tourists or business visitors.
Cheers,
Sincerely yours,
Kent Chan Yuk Lun
