I'm researching Cornelius Jackson who I believe had a close relationship with the Harpers of Walton,Newton,Clarke & Henry Co, GA. Cornelius had a son named Conrnelus Harper Jackson. I suspect that the link may be with a Averet Harper who apparently died in Newton Co around 1822 - wife Elizabeth - sons: Nathan, Asa, Joshua B and Jordan Jackson Harper. Daughters: Polly, ?SallY?, Nancy, Betsy & Sarena (Cornelius named a dau. Sarena). Averet? had a brother named Haywood. Does any of that ring a bell?
