Searching for the Harpers of VA who settled in north Alabama. The story of the brothers who left Harper's Ferry is also in my family of Harpers. Other families involved are the Loves(?), Evans, Wallaces, and Wells. I also know from 1850 AL. census that there were Harpers who were born in SC living in the same county with the Harpers who were born in VA. Given names that are prominate are Joseph B., John, Wells, Joseph Wells, Martha, Mary, Nathaniel P. William M., Robert Love, and Rufus P.
I believe that that these harpers were all related cousins. Any help would certainly be appreicated.

Drury Brewer I had a son Clark, whose son was Charles Henry Dixon, whose son was Marcus Wilson, whose daughter was Kathleen Brewer. I am Kathleen's daughter. Can you help me track my family from Drury to Kathleen. I do not know how Drury in Georgia got to Marcus Wilson in Kemp, Texas? I am very new at internet and also at geneology. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Also I would like a copy of John I's and Drury I's wills. I have read them on your pages, but do not know how to get copies of them. I'm searching for Lonny Harper, m. Minnie Barefoot (she was b. 1878). I'm not sure where Lonny was from, but I believe his father Lee Harper lived in Rome, Ga. Not sure if Lee was from Rome originally or not, or who Lonny's mother was.
I'm also searching for James Reed Brewer's family, from Alexander City, Al. James was born Oct 13, 1899, d Mar 31, 1931. Both his parents died when he was young, and he and his brothers and sisters were shipped out to relatives. I think his mother's name was Susan, unsure of his father's name. Brothers and sisters that I know of were John, Buster, Floyd, Dan, Robert, Oliver, Annabell, and Lillene.
If anyone recognizes any of these names, please email me! I'm desperate!
