Excellent web page! I am researching my Harper ancestors from Henry Co. & Carrol Co., Georgia. I couldn't find a connection on your website, though. James Wesley Harper(1837-1922), my gggrandfather was a carpenter in McDonough most of his life. He was a Confederate veteran.

Great site! Thanks for all the info...I am still looking for Caswell and Louisa Stout Harper, married in the 1840's in Knoxville TN. I believe Caswell was from Virginia, lived a while in Knox Co. TN, moved to the Soddy area of TN, then to northern GA, then back to Soddy (near Chattanooga). Anyone having any info on these Harpers please e-mail me.
